Are you interested in enjoying adventures, having fun, making friends and learning valuable life skills? 

Scouting makes this happen.  If you have a son in grades 5 through 12 and live near the central to north side of Chicago, join Troop 1!

Troop 1 was founded in 2006 and is now one of the most active troops in Chicago. Over the past ten years we have had 49 boys advance to the rank of Eagle Scout.

We meet twice a month (on the second and fourth Thursday) at Park Community Church (1001 N. Crosby Street, Chicago). The boys can participate in up to six campouts per year and we attend Camp Owasippe every summer.

The registration cost is $300 each year.  The Troop provides each Scout with a Boy Scout handbook, neckerchief and neckerchief slide.
