It wouldn't be Scouts without camping! Campouts are a highlight of Scouts and a favorite memory of boys. Troop 1 plans trips in September, October, December, February, April and May. We attend Camp Owasippe in Michigan in early July each year.

Timing: The dates vary with the campout. We typically leave from Home Depot on North Avenue at 6 pm on Friday night and return by noon on Sunday.

Who: Parents are not required to attend campouts, but the troop needs enough volunteers to drive all of the boys to and from each trip.
